Cargo creator
It was either chad fowler or dave thomas who talked about cargo cults. If you do not feel like using the google. There were islands in the south pacific that would have crates wash up on shore. The crates would have amazing things that they have never seen before so, they determined that they must be gives from god. They created new customs and rituals based on the crates. As war broke out in the region different nations were building runways on these islands. The natives now saw huge crates brought by this flying thing. They observed the activities of the airport (the radio tower, runway, guy with the orange cone lights) and they started to mimic that. (I am not an expert on this subject. This is my understanding of a cargo cult from what i have read. Also, I am not a good story teller)

The point is they worshiped something with out knowing it came from and they it because it seemed to work. Just like when you hear, "When i add a ! to this method it works." or "It's done this way because it works.". I enjoy this quote "I’m not really programming, I’m just standing on someone else’s runway waving a torch, hoping it’ll work." The Fishbowl 2004. I found a comment by, I think, chad fowler in side the rails boot process that talked about cargo cults. This got me thinking. I do not want to be in the cult, but instead I want to be the one providing cargo. I think I can archive this goal but, it will take some time. I need to first remove all my current cargo cult thoughts, then start thinking of new ones I can spread around the internet.

Well back to my torch waving, i mean mocking tests...
