Lame train wreck
I am a big fan of woot and shirt woot. I bought a shirt recently that I liked as a coffee drinker and a movie watcher. Woot called it Coughee. Woot switches for me at 10pm which beats the pants off of the 1 am time I had on the east coast. But anyway I bought the shirt and decided to check out the comments. By the time I had bought the shirt there was 2 pages of comments. I thought that was unusually fast for comments on a shirt. Turns out people are offend by a pack of cigarettes on a shirt.
I like to think of myself as a normal person who tries to understand the wide ranges of views people have. I think taking time to try and understand where people come from and how they think helps me respect their point of view no matter how I feel about it. BUT, I did not see the shit storm that the woot shirt caused.
I can only hope that people confront me about the offensiveness of my shirt. Should be fun.
